Colleges

Three colleges meet regularly to assist the Defender of Rights.

These think tanks provided for by law and composed of qualified personalities in their field help the Defender of rights to make relevant decisions by bringing a new and multidisciplinary perspective.

Each of these three colleges can give their opinion on a particular theme:

  • the college "Deontology of security" addresses the rules of good behavior of the representatives of the order, whether public or private;
  • the College "Defense and Promotion of the Rights of the Child" is responsible for everything concerning the interests of children;
  • the College "Fight against Discrimination and Promotion of Equality" works on the defense of discriminated persons and access to rights for all.

These colleges are chaired by the Defender of Rights. The assistants and the Defender's deputy are the vice-presidents.
